Health & Safety Policy Statement
The success of Koolspark Building Services Ltd is reliant on ensuring that we have a working environment that ensures that our employees remain safe and healthy. We therefore place a high priority on the provision of a working environment that is safe and without risks to the health of all Koolspark Building Services employees, contractors, clients’ staff and members of the public, insofar as they may be affected by our activities.

In achieving this we will meet the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and subsidiary legislation in the UK, the Safety, Health and relevant industry standards. Additionally, through a process of audit, review and continual improvement we shall ensure that the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) continues to meet the needs of the business and manages the health and safety of our employees in a dynamic business environment.

The responsibility for health and safety in Koolspark Building Service rests with its Managing Directors they are to ensure that their business areas are managed and adequately resourced to reduce the risks to the health and safety of their employees to as low as reasonably practicable.
​
The continuing development of positive safety behaviour and a culture of inclusive health and safety management require the involvement of all employees. We therefore encourage a culture of open communication where employees can raise safety concerns, allowing for the effective communication or dissemination on all matters related to health and safety.
​
While Directors will use their best endeavours to ensure that a safe and healthy workplace is provided, all employees are to be aware of their responsibility to comply with all requirements placed on them to ensure their own health and safety, and to bring to the attention of their manager any situation that they consider to be unsafe.

We expect employees to work safely and have regard for the safety of others working around them and those who may be affected by their work.

Environmental Policy Statement
Koolspark Building Services Ltd recognises its environmental duties under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 and the Waste (England and Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2012. The Director responsible for Health, Safety and Environmental issues, Ryan Jones recognises that he has a responsibility to take an environmentally (and socially) responsible approach both to existing activities and to possible new developments.

The Company, so far as is reasonably practicable, proposes to pay particular attention to:

a) Minimise disturbance to the local and global environment and to the local communities and wildlife.
b) Follow the waste management hierarchy as outlined in the Waste (England and Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2012. The Company will follow the hierarchy outlined below:

c) Minimise use of energy and raw materials and to adhere to the principles of sustainability.

d) Consider the environment in the design of processes and products and the maintenance of equipment.
​
e) Provide information on the use and final disposal of products.
​
f) Ensure that all employees and suppliers are adequately informed about the Company's environmental policy.
​
g) Minimise the use of product related materials and services such as packaging or transport.
​
In order that the Company can achieve those objectives, it is important that employees recognise their duty, whilst at work, to take reasonable care of the environment. Employees should also co-operate fully with the Company or anyone else concerned, to ensure that their legal and moral obligations are performed or complied with.
